This Privacy Policy explains how Dragon (“Dragon,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our websites, mobile apps, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”

1) Important Note: Dragon Is Not a Bank

Dragon is a financial technology company and is not a bank. Banking services (if any) may be provided by third-party regulated financial institutions (such as partner banks, licensed payment institutions, or card-issuing partners), depending on your location and the Dragon product you use. Dragon may facilitate access to financial products through these partners but does not itself hold deposits as a bank.

A. Information you provide
Identity & contact information: name, email, phone number, date of birth, address.
Account credentials: username, password, security questions (if used).
Verification/KYC data: government ID, selfie/liveness check, proof of address, tax information (where required), and business verification details for businesses (KYB).
Financial and transactional information: payment card details (typically handled by PCI-compliant providers), bank account identifiers, transaction history, beneficiaries, and instructions you submit.
Support communications: messages, calls, emails, chat transcripts, and attachments you send to support.
B. Information we collect automatically
Device & usage data: device type, OS version, app version, browser type, IP address, device identifiers, crash logs, performance metrics, and how you use the Services.
Cookies and similar technologies: for authentication, security, preferences, and analytics (see Section 7).
C. Information from third parties

Financial institution partners: account status, payment confirmations, chargeback information, and related compliance signals.
Analytics and advertising partners (optional): aggregated usage insights and campaign performance (where enabled).

3) How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Services (create accounts, process transactions, enable features).
  • Verify identity and comply with law (KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions screening, recordkeeping).
  • Prevent fraud and enhance security (risk scoring, device fingerprinting, suspicious activity detection).
  • Communicate with you (service messages, security alerts, support replies).
  • Improve the Services (debugging, analytics, product development).
  • Market and promote Dragon (where permitted and with required consent).
  • Enforce our Terms and protect the rights, safety, and property of Dragon, our users, and others.

4) Legal Base (Where Applicable)

Depending on your jurisdiction, our processing may be based on:
Contract (to provide the Services),
Legal obligations (compliance and regulatory duties),
Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement),
Consent (marketing communications, certain cookies), which you can withdraw where applicable.

5) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business (cloud hosting, customer support tools, analytics, identity verification, fraud prevention, communications, compliance vendors).
  • They can only use your data to provide services to us.
  • Financial institution partners and payment networks when necessary to provide the Services (e.g., processing payments, issuing cards, compliance).
  • Professional advisors (auditors, lawyers, accountants) under confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities and legal requests where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition, reorganization) subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • Mobile Information Sharing (Phone Numbers)
Your phone number and other mobile information will not be shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing. We may share phone numbers with service providers that help us deliver the Services (e.g., SMS/voice providers for one-time passwords and security alerts), and with partners where necessary to provide regulated services, subject to contractual protections.

6) International Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law (such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms).

7) Cookies and Preference

We use cookies and similar technologies to: keep you signed in and secure, remember preferences, measure performance and usage, detect fraud and abuse.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, our in-app or on-site cookie controls. Disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

8) Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to: provide the Services, meet legal and regulatory requirements (including AML/KYC recordkeeping), resolve disputes and enforce agreements, maintain security and prevent fraud. Retention periods may vary by jurisdiction and product.

9) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to: access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent), request data portability, opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at [privacy@dragon.com] or [support@dragon.com]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

10) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information (see the Security page for more detail). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Services or by other appropriate means. The “Last Updated” date shows when it was most recently revised.
